Help, Healing, & Hope
Safe Place is a division of Safe Passage created to address the growing need for services specific to survivors of sexual violence apart from domestic and relationship violence. Safe Passage committed to the expansion of their existing services in 2015, to open the region’s first certified Rape Crisis Center and support programming for those who have had an unwanted sexual experience.
All Safe Passage Advocates and Empowerment Specialist Advocates have been trained in both kinds of power-based violence. The services offered are free and confidential for both Safe Passage and the Safe Place division. Both are dedicated to providing Help, Healing, & Hope to build a community free of domestic and sexual violence. Help for those in need. Healing for survivors. Hope for all.
The mission of Safe Place is to provide help, healing and hope to survivors of sexual violence through intervention and advocacy services. Safe Place also strives to promote awareness and education to the community in order to put an end to sexual violence.
Safe Place has the vision to provide comprehensive services to survivors of sexual violence and to the community in order to work toward building a future where sexual violence no longer exists.
